Eoin Finn  We are excited to be one of the sponsors of the Camp Moomba Yogathon on July 12th. Two thousand people are expected to participate to raise funds for children impacted by HIV/AIDs and the yoga class will be lead by one of Canada’s best-loved yoga teachers, Eoin Finn.

Consumers asked to make ‘cooler’ choices...

Disposable cup Vancouver, BC – May 2008 – Salt Spring Coffee Company, BC’s original fair trade and organic coffee company, continues to lead the way with its sustainability practices. Beginning May 20th Salt Spring Coffee is challenging coffee drinkers to look deeper into how they use disposable cups.  The company will implement a 5-cent green fee on throw-away coffee cups with money generated going towards local sustainability initiatives in the community.  The goal: get people to bring re-usable mugs, the message: reduce waste and become carbon cool.
